Some adorable words from our little ones after meeting the firefighters at I.Newton:
“The firetruck was sooo big!”
“I wore the helmet—it was heavy but cool!”
“If there’s smoke, I know how to Stop, Drop & Roll!”
This week, our preschoolers had an unforgettable fire safety lesson with a very special visit from our local Fire Department.
From the moment the firefighters arrived, the children’s eyes sparkled with curiosity. More than 40 “little heroes” gathered around, eager to listen and learn.
They got to explore real uniforms and equipment.
They practiced “Stop, Drop & Roll” just like true firefighters.
And of course—the highlight of the day—standing next to the giant red firetruck and hearing its siren roar!
🍃 The joyful moment when the children
tried on firefighter helmets.
Each laugh, each brave pose, and each curious question turned into memories of courage and discovery.
At I.Newton, this was more than just a fun visit. It was a lesson in safety, bravery, and community spirit. Our children not only learned how to protect themselves but also understood the kindness and courage it takes to keep others safe. ❤️
👏 We extend a heartfelt thank you to our firefighter friends for inspiring confidence and compassion in our young learners.

The Fire Safety Visit is just one of many hands-on learning experiences at I.Newton, along with events like our Science Fair, Halloween, and Christmas celebrations.
